SellUp Terms & Conditions
The customer must accept these Terms and Conditions as stated below, to fulfil the Product trade-in through this program with the appointed merchants.
- "Shopee Online Trade-In Program" is provided by the appointed merchant.
- "Shopee Online Trade-In Program" is defined as the responsible reuse of the item or its components.
- The Customer must be of at least 18 years of age, or must have sought parental consent prior to the trade-in.
- The Customer is defined as the individual that is the sole possessor of the Product or the individual that has been granted full capacity by the sole possessor of the Product to act on behalf of the sole possessor’s interests.
- The “Shopee Online Trade-In Program” is provided to Shopee customers by the appointed merchant which acts as an independent third-party entity. Shopee is not an entity in the transaction between the appointed merchant and customers of the program. Shopee will not be held liable for any disputes and/or miscommunication between the customer and the appointed merchant.
- Product value(s) stated on the website are subject to final valuation by the appointed merchant. All final Product value(s) will be solely based on the appointed merchant’s quotation on-site.
- Transactions will be signed with the appointed merchant for acknowledgement of Product handover and trade-in. Collection slip(s) will be issued by the appointed merchant.
- All customer service concerns shall be directed to the appointed merchant via their chat box on Shopee or official contact.
- The appointed merchant reserves the right to reject or rescind any trade-in at their own discretion and to amend these terms and conditions at any time without due notice.
- The appointed merchant reserves the right to collect your personal data and Shopee user information for any or all of the following purposes:
- performing obligations in the course of or in connection with our provision of the goods and/or services requested by you;
- verifying your identity;
- responding to, handling, and processing queries, requests, applications, complaints, and feedback from you;
- complying with any applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, or rules, or to assist in law enforcement and investigations conducted by any governmental and/or regulatory authority;
- any other incidental business purposes related to or in connection with the above.
- Shopee voucher will be dispatched to user after completed trade-in(s). Voucher will be valid for 30 days from date of issue. Voucher will not be reinstated should user fail to use the voucher before expiry date.
- Users may opt to receive payment via ShopeePay. The appointed merchant makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the goods and services rendered. To use SellUp's website, services, content, technologies and applications, you must abide by these Terms of Use as well as any other written agreement(s) between SellUp Pte Ltd and you. If these Terms of Use are not acceptable to you, please exit from this website. SellUp Pte Ltd reserves the right to change these Terms of Use from time to time with or without notifying you. SellUp makes every effort to ensure that the information presented in, on or through its website is accurate, however, because SellUp communicates information provided and created by advertisers, software developers, publishers, marketing agents, resellers and other third parties, SellUp has no control over the accuracy of such information, and makes no guarantee towards any such information. Thus, SellUp is not responsible for the information, including its accuracy, currency, content, quality, copyright compliance or legality, or for any resulting loss or damage.
We make no representation that information on this website is appropriate or available for use outside the Singapore region. Those who choose to access this Site from outside Singapore region do so on their own initiative and are themselves responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SellUp, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, vendors and distributors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that such parties may incur as a result of or arising from your account's (or from anyone using your account) violation or breach of any representation or obligation under these Site Terms. We reserve the right to assume exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you and, in such case; you agree to cooperate with our defence of such claim.
